This rental rocks! It is in the backyard of another property but the hosts have done a great job of keeping it super private, including your own patio area with fire pit! We loved the look of the interior and tall ceilings! Everything felt brand new. The rental is fully stocked with kitchen essentials so we were able to cook all of our meals, which is a huge plus for us. The beds were very comfortable and the AC works great. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Htx Pads. The home is unique and beautifully remodeled with all the latest conveniences like USB outlets, high speed wi-fi, sonos speakers, Hulu, and a room with an adjustable desk and double monitors that can serve as an office during your stay. Both my husband and I had to work during our stay and the office helped us immensely. Our kids loved the comfy trundle and there was plenty of storage space for their toys & games. There isn't a large outdoor space, but we enjoyed the private patio space. The house has a very open concept with big windows that draw in beautiful light throughout the day so we never felt cooped in or crowded. The owners stocked the house with everything we needed and more and were very responsive to all of our questions. The neighborhood was a mix of older home and new development and we would have preferred parking behind a gate, but we made sure to take out all valuables and lock the car. We loved the variety of food options including an Italian restaurant within walking distance we ordered desserts from one evening and if you're a fan of Mexican candy, or any type of Mexican snack, we highly recommend stopping by the Dulceria next door. They have every single candy and snack you can imagine. We also had great shrimp and fried rice from a place a couple of blocks down the street. The house is also very close to downtown Houston and we were able to take advantage of a few downtown activities like an Astro's game, St. Arnold's Brewery, and the Aquarium without dealing with much of Houston traffic at all! That's a huge win in my book. Overall we loved or stay and would absolutely stay again when we're back in town.
