We absolutely loved our stay at HTX Pads' Katy home. The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. The owner has made thoughtful decisions about each room's purpose, from the types of beds to entertainment amenities. We spent a good amount of time in the backyard, enjoying the sparkling and right-sized, gated pool (and plenty of floaties and pool toys neatly tucked into a poolside storage container). The gazebo with grill, party lights, table and seating for 6 was the perfect place to sit and talk with family. The kids played for hours in the pool, as well as the upstairs loft gameroom, complete with foosball, air hockey, and video arcade machine featuring retro classics, like PacMan. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect gathering place for our family. So much for the kids to do!! HTX Pad's was so responsive and patient when I asked questions that they had already sent me instructions on! Kind host and perfect - provided extra TP/Paper Towels/Pool Towels/ Pool Floaties/ Make-up Removal Wipes - all the things most rentals do not provide (One paper towel roll and you're on your own is what we're used to, but not here). We had a wonderful stay at this home! The pool was definitely the best part - we paid to have it heated which was well worth the money. The pool was clean but didn’t have the fun flamingo floatable anymore like the pics. The house is in a neighborhood and the backyard has neighbors on all sides but there is a fence. The home was comfortable and fit our family well. My kids enjoyed the upstairs loft with games and such. The house was lived in and aged, but was clean and maintained. The owner is very responsive to any questions or issues we had during our stay.

My family and I loved staying at HTX Pad’s! The house has a warm cozy feeling to it as soon as you walk in. You’ll feel right at home. The host is very kind & responsive! If we had any problems big or small they were happy to help & eager to fix it. They didn’t mind answering any of our questions no matter how simple they may have been! Great place for a getaway to get away from your daily routine so you can rewind & reset! Lovely safe neighborhood! There’s many stores & food places nearby so you have to go to far if get hungry! :) The pool is beautiful not only during the day time but also the night time. The pool has a light that will turn it into various colors so you can definitely enjoy the pool at night as well! :) If you’re afraid that the pool will be too cold to swim in at night… they offer the option to pay for pool heating for only $30 so you can swim comfortably. Pros: Pool and pool floaties, Overall cleanliness, peaceful neighborhood, easy access to location, reasonable driving distance to needed amenities/stores, during the stay - hosts were very responsive and updating us on needed information, mailed a travel high-chair seat for our child to use Cons: Communication prior to arrival was slow - asked a question regarding pack and play for our kid to sleep in with no response then asked again a week later and received an apology stating they would get back with us, still did not get back to us so asked a third time 6 days after the previous one and finally got an answer (final answer was 4 days prior to us arriving and about 2 weeks from initially asking the question), camera by the pool - understand for their protection, but also a little strange knowing someone could be watching you and your family swim, had to buy our own replacement trash bags and kleenex and laundry detergent because it ran out with no replacement that we saw

The home was older and could use some upkeep. The floors were not in the best shape which made it feel a little dated & dirty. The first thing we went to do was jump in the pool and it was quite dirty. It was full of leaves, dirt & even floating hair. None of the filters were running when we arrived & one was laying in the dirt. The Host confirmed that the pool filters must have been taken out by the previous tenant & the back yard was not looked over by the host before the next tenant arrived, us. The communication was also subpar. The House Guidebook, the AirBnb post & the message from the host, all had wildly different directions on what needed to be cleaned. We did follow the Airbnb checkout guidelines. The Host sent a lot of messages leading up to the trip & many felt automated. I had trouble getting answers at times. For example, our stay was 5/7 - 5/9. On 5/6 I reached out about early checkin and was told to reach out the day before my stay, which it was.

It was super easy to get to and provides all the amenities you would hope and pray to have. The backyard is lovely and peaceful! The Flamingo House was just perfect for our family from Canada, California & Texas to stay for a few days. I message our host about a couple of items for the pool & back yard, that I thought we might be able to fix but the host reodered 2×the floaties & a new cornhole game before we could even try to fix them! Wonderful! We pretty much stayed at the AirB&B for our few days, other than grocery shopping. Stores were close, including pizza delivery. Our time at the Flamingo House was quiet, peaceful and enjoyed by each of us. It was great.

This house was amazing! It is the perfect set up for a family vacation. The house was very clean and looked just like the pictures displayed. If you wanted to cook during your stay they provided all cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates and etc.. It also was less than 10 min away from a Walmart. The pool was clean and there was plenty of parking. There was even a security system in place that locks the doors automatically at a certain time to ensure your safety. 10 out of 10 !! I am definitely going to be coming back to this house when visiting my family again.

Our family enjoyed our weekend stay in Katy. The kids loved the private pool and outdoor amenities. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. It is an easy ~30 minute drive to downtown Houston. Hosts were very responsive. Kitchen was stocked with cleaning supplies (I have never seen this in an Airbnb before), pool towels right by the door, shampoo, conditioner, body wash provided, lots of room and family games. I would recommend this Airbnb for large groups or families.

I would’ve given the location five stars, however there were some things that needed to be fixed prior to us arriving. (The owner said they would fix the very next week). The shrubs needed to be cut down in the front. The outside lights on the front porch did not work, so it was very dark. The light in the master bathroom where the toilet is located was flickering on and off. We have a small dog, and the backyard although beautiful, could’ve used some maintenance before we arrived. Shrubs cut down, and yard cut. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There was such personal care poured into our stay and flexibility when our travels required adjustments, they were so gracious in working with us. We had a wonderful stay here in Katy. Check in was easy, there were a few issues with the house when I arrived but they were very quickly addressed, communication was excellent, with a real focus on making it a comfortable stay for us. Home was very clean and had lots of spaces. We loved the pool and all the amenities. Neighborhood was safe and I felt comfortable walking my dog around, plus the benefit of the fenced in yard. Very close to lots of restaurants and delivery. Great option if you need a place in Katy!

The pictures don’t do the house justice. It’s much better in person I was actually surprised. We enjoyed the home very much! Nice and spacious they communicate great! Location wise it’s easy to get to everything. When we arrived there were a few dead water bugs at the entrance which is normal due to the area and heat they responded quickly and were accommodating. The only issue we had was the fridge didn’t cool the items as it should’ve aside from that everything was great and the patio area was our favorite. Accommodated our party of 7 very well.

House was wonderful! Pool was great and clean! They allowed my wife and I to bring our fur babies plus my brother in laws doggo as well! We all enjoyed our stay! House was nice and cool on these hot summer days! Neighbors were very nice to us! Made sure they didnt bother us when we spent hours in the backyard! Only rule we did not know about before arriving to the house was the pool hours. We were only allowed to swim from 8am till 930pm. Probably there because quests like to party till the late hours,but we like to relax when we get home from being out on the town and a nice night swim would have been great but this did not ruin our stay! Beds were so comfy. Very spacious home and we will be back to stay again!

Really Awesome AirBNB home and Private! Very very convenient - the house was located near a lot of great restaurants and lot of stores practically anything you need is 5-10 mins away. We are foodies and we absolutely love checking out new spots and restaurants. The home was really really clean and well equipped, had every necessity that anyone would need and plenty of space for 2 or 3 families. The pool and the updated backyard is added treat and well kept. The days you don’t want to go out…easily relax and spend time in the backyard. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and very quick with responses, additionally they were very gracious and was extremely helpful. We will definitely plan to stay again! So far this has been been one of the best experiences ever renting AirBnB! Looking forward to doing this again!

This house has everything you need for a family of 10 to have a good time. There’s plenty of places to sit and lounge around. The pool was amazing. The house itself has all the amenities you need, just bring your groceries and you’re good to go.

The house was clean and the pool was amazing. House is right next to a lot of fast food places and very convenient to grab anything you’ll need for a fun trip. Definitely will book with them the next time I come back!!!!

Fantastic home! Super convenient - the house was perfectly located near a lot of great restaurants and any place we needed to get to was no more than 15 minutes away. It's also a quick drive to Houston. The home was really clean and had everything we need and a lot of space for my family. Our hosts were excellent communicators and answered every question in a super timely manner. They were so helpful and we will definitely plan to stay again! Bets airbnb experience ever!
